• Pull the Pin
• Aim at the base
• Squeeze the handle
• Sweep side-to-side

Types of Fires

• Class A- “Stuff that burn like wood & paper”
  • Use on: Normal fires (wood, paper, cloth)
  • Rating # = How much water is inside & how big of a fire it can put out
• Class B- “Liquid Fires” (Gas, Grease, & Oil)
  • Use on: Flammable liquids
  • Rating #= How many square feet of fire it can extinguish
• Class C- “Electrical Fires”
  • Use on: Wires, outlets, & appliances
  • No rating #
