Dress Code & Uniform

Mandatory while clocked in:

• Union-provided polos or quarter zips
• Professional-looking pants or jeans
• Closed-toed shoes

Recommendations:

• Hats can be worn (UofU branded hats are preferred)
• Sunglasses when working outside
• Belts

Examples of clothing not to wear:

• Workout pants or shorts
• Sweatpants
• Ripped denim/pants 
• Flip flops/sandals

Uniform:

Each student custodian is issued several staff polo shirts. It is up to that employee to launder and maintain the appearance of those shirts. These shirts are returned to the department upon end of employment. Staff shirts are to be worn at work only.

Staff are also issued a quarter-zip pullover. Depending on comfort, employees should wear their polo and/or quarter zip for all shifts.
