Xfinity Remote Setup and Pairing

XFINITY REMOTE SETUP INSTRUCTIONS 

FOR XR15 REMOTE: 

1. Make sure the TV and TV box are turned on, and that the TV is on the correct source. 

2. Hold down the “xfinity” and “info” buttons until the indicator light on the remote changes from red to green. 

3. Enter the 3-digit code that appears on the TV using the remote. The remote light should flash green. 

FOR XR11 REMOTE: 

1. Make sure the TV and TV box are turned on, and that the TV is on the correct source. 

2. Hold down the “Setup” button until the indicator light on the remote turns from red to green. 

3. Press the “xfinity” button while pointing at the front of the settop box. The indicator light on the remote should turn green. If it doesn’t, keep pressing the “xfinity” button until it does. 

4. Enter the 3-digit code that appears on the TV using the remote. 

RESETTING YOUR REMOTE 

For XR15 remote: 

1. Hold down the “A” and “D” buttons for a few seconds until the indicator light on the remote turns green. 

2. Press 9-8-1 on the remote. 

3. If the reset was successful, the indicator light on the remote will blink blue three times. 

To reconnect your remote: 

1. Make sure the TV and TV box are turned on, and that the TV is on the correct source. 

2. Hold down the “xfinity” and “info” buttons until the indicator light on the remote changes from red to green. 

3. Enter the 3-digit code that appears on the TV using the remote. 

For XR11 Remote: 

1. Hold down the “Setup” button until the remote light turns green.  

2. Push 9-8-1 on the remote. The status light should blink twice to signify that the remote was reset. 

To reconnect your remote: 

1. Make sure the TV and TV box are turned on, and that the TV is on the correct source. 

2. Hold down the “Setup” button until the indicator light on the remote turns from red to green. 

3. Press the “xfinity” button while pointing the remote at the front of the settop box. The indicator light on the remote should turn green. If it doesn’t, keep pressing the “xfinity” button until it does. 

4. Enter the 3-digit code that appears on the TV using the remote.
