Campus Connect & Tap Card
Anytime a student or professor is assisted, please ask them to tap their UCard. Data tracks service desk usage
- Login> UID & DUO
- Select Groups: Top Bar
- Select Union Service Desk
- Select Events
- Select GC Information Desk (LIVE Option)
- Click Check-in Attendees
- Click Track Attendance w/ Computer (First option)
- Test your U-Card to verify the tap card reader works
Student Storage
If students request access to Student Storage, verify access through this form
If the student org. is on the approved access list:
- Ask for Dept/Student Group Name, Name of Student, UID, if they are dropping off/picking up, Date, Check-in/out time, Desk Initals
If the student org. is not on the approved access list:
- Direct them to speak with Allie Menzdorf: AMenzdorf@sa.utah.edu
Shower Access
- Confirm user has completed Shower Agreement form by searching first & last name or UID
- Log their information in GC shower Uses & collect collateral
- Make sure the key # is recorded in the Excel sheet
Bike Storage
Do not provide access to Bike Storage; individuals receive access through their UCard. To receive access on ucard, they need to fill out the bike storage form (GC Union page). Access is given between 48-72hrs from time of form submission.
TPS Reports
Use the Clicker at the desk to track the number of people the desk helped: A/V assistance, checkroom, shower access, directions, reservations etc.
At the end of every shift: Submit TPS report with Name & total # of people helped
- Submissions are tracked by area leads: one submission per end of shift
- Failure to submit reports can result in verbal warnings
ASTRA
Access astra > Login with UID & password
- Click "Calendars"
- "Scheduling Grids"
- Click the Dropdown "Choose Calendar"
- Select "Gardner Commons"
- Click the Dropdown "Filter"
- Select "Student Project Rooms"
- Fill in all Information
- Things to Clarify: Customer Name = Your name (Staff or fellow processing reservation)
- Click "Save and Send Notification"
- Click "Add Recipient"
- Recipient = Student requesting study room
- Name & Umail
- Click "True" > will turn into a checkbox
- Click "Ok"
DO NOT Reserve RM 3635 > It has been turned into an office
A/V Equipment Check-out/in
Use cheqroom & collect collateral
- If equipment check-in time is expected to be after 2pm > direct to Union Service Desk to check out equipment
Lost & Found
All items turned into lost & found should be recorded on this form
- If an item is picked up: access this link & update column M to reflect yes (picked up)
Bulletin Boards
Bulletin Boards should be checked atleast once per shift: Following the same Union flyer & posting policy
