We have had issues with these individuals but they haven't officially been trespassed. Call campus police and request that they be trespassed for the following.
Name: Unknown

- Description: Black appearing, slim, about 6 ft. Flattop haircut, shaved sides. Black and red headphones, sunglasses. Shows up with a longboard.
- History:
- This individual over the course of several months has been going into set rooms and setting their stuff up in the space. This individual has been looking at room cards to determine if and when there are events and has been trying the doors for rooms. Several Union full-time staff (Andree, Laura, Brett, RC, and Shane) have approached this individual and have asked them to leave the space. Laura has confirmed with the individual that they are not a student at the University of Utah. Some Chartwells staff have noted his presence in their areas but not through confirmed spaces.
- The lasted incident occurred on April 29th-
- Enters building: 7:00AM (1st floor bathrooms/Bennion center)
- Enters north-most study pod: 7:01:08
- Gathers belongings and leaves at 7:23AM
- Returns at 7:32AM
- Comes out of the North-most pod (3:14PM)
- In view from 3:14 PM - 7:02PM in the Mezzanine (West 3rd Floor Hallway Cam)
- Tried Parlor B doors when they arrived, saw Parlor A occupiedEnters into Pano East around 4:55 and uses some of the catering supplies put out for the next event, Shane comes in at 5:06 and lets the person know that they cannot be in the space
- Shane enters the main mezz area at 5:35 but doesn’t interact
- Left out the exits next to 1st floor bathrooms/Bennion center around 7:03 PM
- Give the repeated interactions and use of space, this individual will need to be trespassed by campus police.
Name: Two Teenagers

- Description: Two young caucasian males
- History
- January 7, 2026- Two individuals stole pool cues from the rec desk. They did not rent pool cues, they took them from an active group, therefore no collateral was left at the rec desk to identify the individuals. They are clearly seen on the security cameras taking pool cues, walking up down the hallway, up the stairs by the theater, walking back down the hallway and out the front door, holding the pool cues the entire time. Police was contacted hours later after the incident happened to create a case number.

- History
- June 17, 2025 - At approximately 10:35 AM, an individual entered the Union Building through the main lobby doors and approached the Services Desk area. The individual opened the mini fridge, took a drink, and slammed the fridge door shut. This was witnessed by Service Desk Fellow Mirna, several Building Managers, and the reporting Building Manager. The individual was then observed entering the men's restroom located on the east end of the second floor. A Building Manager checked the restroom and confirmed that the individual was occupying a stall. After a period of time, the individual was not seen exiting the restroom. The Service Desk and Building Manager area leads were notified of the situation. Campus police were not involved. However, footage of the incident will be retained as a record in the event of any future occurrences.
- June 17, 2025 - Follow up for the previous summitted report on 06/17/2025 at 10:35 am. David was notified of the incident and asked to contact campus police to have a report and a case number on file. No charges were pressed. Building manager contacted Campus police and an officer was dispatched and came to get a statement, Case number is #25-1711.
- June 17, 2025 - The same individual that stole a drink from the fridge at 10:35 am today returned at 3:19 pm. He exited the men's restroom near the lobby and headed straight to the fridge where he grabbed a couple drinks. He paid for 1 or 2 drinks but was seen leaving with drinks in his pocket. Campus police has been informed and the individual has been trespassed from the building and no charges were filed. The campus police is looking for the individual. We are told to refuse services to the individual if he comes back.

- April 10, 2025- RC Reported to the front desk that there was in individual feeling their way around in the student involvement wing. I went to assess the situation and asked if they needed any assistance. The individual did not respond to me and seemed to possibly be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I asked David to approach them. While David was talking to them, I called campus security. Campus security approached the individual and the individual told them that they were pretending to be blind for 10 minutes. They were not under the influence.
- May 8, 2025- The same male person who entered the building through the main entrance at about 7:13 am and stood in front of the torch near the entrance of the admin office for about an hour and was talking to himself loudly and after being asked to relocate he decided to just leave the building. Returned at around 1 pm and left another sheet of paper on the wooden table in the middle of the lobby. Jeremy asked me to contact campus police and I talked to them with David; where he mentioned that he had been here on April 10th and there had already been an incident report about him pretending to be blind.
- This same person was seen in the cameras the night prior at 8:45 pm and left some pages of notes that were stapled together and were found by the night crew. All the notes left behind are attached to this report.
- While writing this report officer Smith called David and let him know that this person has been trespassed from other buildings and uses an alias (can be found below). If they are seen in the building please David know and call campus security if they are acting in an odd behavior.
- May 16, 2025- Approximately 4:45pm the individual known to us as Samuel Leal Villasor DOB:12-25-97 (alias Ivan Aguirre) approached the Union front desk and asked to borrow a stapler. After using it her left a piece of paper in the wooden table in the center of the union lobby. He walked over to the coaches near the Deans office and appeared to take a nap.
- The Service desk fellow JP recognized him as the individual previously discussed for potential trespass. I reviewed past the watch list in Zendesk and confirmed, the case number is:#25-12342. I immediately informed the Building Manager Leads and David, and then contacted campus police.
- While I was in the phone with David, officers arrived and spoke with David. It was officer Smith and another officer were present. They collected my personal information and proceeded to engage with the subject. The individual was cooperative throughout the interaction.
- By 8:35pm, officer Smith notified us that the trespassed had been officially processed. The new case number was: #25-1431, She also informed us that trespasses are valid for 6 months. If the individual is reported again between now and November 16 2025, we can contact campus police to issue another 6-month trespass.

- Description: The person is wearing a black quarter zipper with dark olive green pants. He is bald and was seen wearing a cap and black sunglasses.
- History
- February 21, 2025- The alleged person who walked into admin asking for Ethan, was spotted in rec. He was asking questions to the people there to a point where he was making them uncomfortable. One of the students called campus police for the same reason. The officer spoke to the person for almost an hour and concluded that he has no intent to cause disturbances or harm to anyone. The officer also mentioned he seemed to have injuries on his head, which might explain the unusual behavior. He is allowed to stay in the building and the the union employees working at rec have been asked to report anything unusual regarding him to the building manager. Officer batch no. P16
- Feb 21, 2025- BM on clock tried to reference that the Union is a private building and showed office, nothing was done to tresspass them on the officers end

Aggressive dog is medium sized, tan colored, and short haired. Did not appear to be wearing a service dog vest and should not be allowed inside building without one

- June 14, 2024 - Was reported to be staying after hours and sleeping in the meditation room. Would engage in uncomfortable conversations with service desk staff about personal information
- June 20, 2024 - Was notified of building hours when closing and responded very rude and made false claims they had gotten permission to stay after hours by the Dean of Students and didn't have to comply with our requests of leaving the building by 9 pm
- June 21, 2024 - A conversation was held with Claire by full-time staff and it seemed like they would follow the requests to comply with our building hours. Upon closing, they did not want to leave the building so campus police were contacted
- June 22, 2024 - Claire did not follow the requests, and campus police were contacted and were given a 6-month ban

- Description: Older white male, longer blond hair
- History
- May 30, 2024 - Making rec desk employees uncomfortable and making racist comments towards an employee. Campus police were contacted and given a warning
- May 31, 2024 - Stole a jacket from a student, and multiple reports were made of this person harassing students and employees. Campus police spoke with them and were put on a campus-wide trespass list

- 10-12-year-old kid with white tee and black pants and long hair.
- History
- July 7, 2023 - Walter from the rec desk reported that three kids stole a few drinks from the mini fridge at the desk. He was talking to one of them while the rest grabbed the drinks and left. He went after them to get the drinks back and got one back. He wasn't sure if they took more than 1. The nest cameras capture them taking more. The three individuals left the building shortly after.

- Description: Male, white, 50 or older, big jacket and sweatpants on, had long matted hair.
- History
- May 6, 2023 - A bus driver reported a man was sleeping in the bathroom. The building manager went to check and knocked on the stall to wake up the individual. Waited for him to walk out and he didn't. After the building manager contacted the lead manager, they said to call the campus police. Campus police came and, banned him for 6 months. He's ban ends on November 6, 2023.

- Description: Homeless man with shoulder-length blonde hair and red sweatpants. Late 20's to early 30's.
- History
- February 23, 2023 - Was reported for harassing people in the event in the theatre. Building Manager called campus security, as he is the same man that left a blood trail in the bathrooms last week after suspected drug use. When campus security arrived, the man had left the building, so nothing could be done (no case number).
Name: Mark Fredrickson
- Case # (Reference when contacting campus police): 23-0502
- Description: White male, long gray hair. Wearing a purple scarf, bulky attire. Around the age of 50-60's.
- History
- February 4, 2023 - Had a ziplock bag full of what was presumed to be marijuana, had a joint, and a small pile of marijuana. When told to leave once the building was closed, he got angry & aggressive, so the Building Manager called the police but left soon after.
- February 8, 2023 - Was spotted in the building, and police was updated. Additionally, he was back in the building at closing. He was kicked out but appeared agitated, raised his voice very quickly and stepped a little bit closer to Building Manager, then left. Campus police were not contacted
- February 10, 2023 - An elder homeless man was very persistent in not leaving the building, was saying several slurs, and being all around vulgar, had to call campus security to get him to leave.
- February 14, 2023 - A man was disturbing students in the food court, seemed disorientated and couldn't understand him. Jeremy talked to him but there wasn't much sense and campus police were contacted to escort him out.

- Description: Large, pacific islander, long black hair
- Trespassed from the building until May 1, 2023.
- History
- June 11, 2022 - Verbally harassed staff at Recreation Desk, asked for phone numbers, made sexually suggestive comments, and jumped over the counter and into the staff area.
- September 1, 2022 - Individual returned to the building. Campus police were called, brought the individual outside, and spoke with him for 30 minutes or more. There were some outstanding warrants in his name and he was put into handcuffs and escorted away from the building. Officially trespassed until May 1, 2023.
- Jan 19, 2023 - Individual returned to the building. Campus police were called, and he was reminded that is currently trespassing and left the building. Police said they would cite or arrest him if he returned before his trespassing had expired

- Description: Tall white male with shoulder-length blonde hair. Ripped clothing.

- Aug 2022 - The individual normally hangs out by the TV in Union Recreation. He was seen urinating in public and verbally harassed guests and staff.

- Aug 2022 - The individual normally hangs out in the student lounge. Has had verbal altercations with building managers and has been caught on camera stealing from a reservation in 312.
